The engine valves regulate the air and exhaust gases in/out of the combustion chamber with the rotation of the camshaft.

Intake valves and exhaust valves work under different temperature and pressure.

The exhaust valves are subjected to highly corrosive gases at temperatures exceeding 1400 degrees Fahrenheit. In comparison, intake valves are cooled by the incoming air and hence the exhaust valves in the AEC range features high quality alloy which offer greater resistance to higher temperature, pressure and corrosion.
